Booneschans, formerly Bonerschans or Bonenschans, is a hamlet in the municipality of Oldambt in the Dutch province of Groningen. The hamlet is located just south of Bad Nieuweschans along the Hamdijk, directly on the border with Germany. To the west lies the B.L. Tijdenskanaal, which has been there since 1911. Since the late 1990s, the Bos op Houwingaham has been surrounding it.
