The name Hein Keverstraat comes from Hein Kever. He was one of the first painters from Laren. He became known for his indoor scenes of farmer's wives and children, a typical Laren theme. Hein Kever lived in Laren for a time on Naarderstraat and later on Oude Drift 2 (opposite the entrance to the Singer Museum).
