Start and end point:
Pastoor Eykenweg (behind café De Kempen), Knegsel. At the forked junction of Pastoor Eykenweg and Den Heuvel, behind café De Kempen (see catering), look for the sign 'nature trail 2.5 km' and follow the indicated direction. After 300 m LA, go on a dirt track that leaves the built-up area. Here is the first pole with which the route is marked – at strategic points. They are short, chamfered poles on which a green shield with the text 'nature trail Knegsel' is attached. If the shield is legible, follow the correct walking direction. Along the way, white arrows and numbers have also been painted on trees, for example, referring to information in an existing brochure about the nature trail.
