The Lange Juffer is a hill with the greatest elevation difference in Central Netherlands. The Lange Juffer is almost entirely made up of a bike path, which was widened to 2 meters (concrete bike path) in 2005. This avenue runs from the Hof te Dieren to a hunting lodge in/on the Imbos. Juffer refers here to an earlier classification of softwood: a juffer is a stem that had the following dimensions: length 15-30 feet (4-8 meters), and a diameter at the top of 6-12 centimeters.
