In front of the inn that was already here in 1390 and was housed in the farm "Hof ten Eynde", Jan van Laarhoven planted this lime tree around 1780. The tavern is gone, the tree remains.
After some calculations to estimate his age, you get respect for this veteran who occupies the sixtieth place on the top list of most beautiful lime trees in the Netherlands. Admittedly not a gold medal, but still...
