Cross Dorphof.
A little further is the chalk cliff of Heimans.
That is a geological monument that is best visible in the winter months. The former marl quarry is now fenced off and therefore forbidden to enter. Remains from the Belemnite come to the surface here. This is a soft fine-grained limestone that was deposited on the seabed here about 73-69 million years ago.
Eli Heimans, first described this in 1911, from which the geological monument also takes its name.
The limestone wall of the quarry has a height of about 25 meters.
