The Beatrix building is a former household school in which various institutions have now found a home. In addition to the Historical Circle, Vluchtelingenwerk and Steunpunt Vrijwilligerswerk, the education for adults, provided by Landstede, is also located here.
It was built in 1939 as a three-class agricultural school, adapted and expanded in 1957 and 1975. In the schoolyard there was also an educational vegetable garden and a chicken coop. Until 1984, the school had an average of 120 pupils. From 1984 the number of pupils decreased and in 1988 the school was closed. The artwork on the façade, three generations, refers to the original function of the building.
