The ferry connection between Millingen aan de Rijn and Pannerden takes you across the Rhine River just one kilometer from the head of Pannerden, where the Rhine splits into the Waal and the Pannerdensch Canal. About 5 kilometers upstream lies the point where the Rhine enters our country at the village of Spijk (near Lobith).
