La conexión en ferry entre Millingen aan de Rijn y Pannerden le lleva a través del Rin, a solo un kilómetro de la punta de Pannerden, donde el Rin se divide en el Waal y el Canal Pannerdensch. Aproximadamente a 5 kilómetros río arriba se encuentra el punto donde el Rin entra en nuestro país cerca del pueblo de Spijk (cerca de Lobith).
