The Saint Lucia Church is the only church in Mierlo and the parish church of the Saint Lucia parish, a parish that consists of the village of Mierlo. The church is dedicated to Lucia of Syracuse. On 1 January 2015, the parish was merged into the parish of Saint Nicasius. This is a parish that includes the old parishes of Geldrop, Heeze, Leende, Mierlo and Sterksel.
