The bunker of Seyss-Inquart is located on the Clingendael estate and dates back to the Second World War. He was part of the Stützpunktgruppe Scheveningen.
While Arthur Seyss-Inquart lived on the Clingendael estate, he had the Abteilung Siedlung und Bauten build a shelter in the park on the border with the Oosterbeek estate. The building, designed as a farm, was 61 by 30 meters and 20 meters high, in which was a concrete "shoebox" of 49 by 17 meters and 15 high with 2 meters thick walls and a 4 meter thick ceiling. From the air, it looked like an ordinary farm. The exterior walls are concrete, finished with bricks or painted to resemble a brick wall. On the concrete roof are roof tiles and two very large "chimneys" for 2 cm Flak anti-aircraft guns.
