When postal services became important over a century ago, the post office was housed in the then town hall across from Dorpsstraat. In 1936, a new post office was built at Dorpstraat 23. This large building with many counters served until 2006. Nowadays, healthcare is offered here, and KPN still provides telecommunications from the building behind it.
