De Banjaard is a holiday park with a hotel in the Dutch province of Zeeland. It is located in the municipality of Noord-Beveland, northwest of the village of Kamperland. The name of the park is derived from the eponymous sandbank located to the northwest. Bungalow park De Banjaard was built in 1959-1960 and consists of around 140 holiday homes. Between 1995 and 1997, a new holiday park called Roompot Residence De Banjaard was developed behind De Banjaard. It was designed by architect and project developer Matthijs Zeelenberg, who has drawn up more parks of this type. It consists of about 600 partially prefabricated holiday cottages that are grouped around a center with shops, restaurants, and a swimming pool. The accommodations are largely built from PVC frames and fiber cement boards to withstand the salty sea air.
