View over the Mark.
The Mark springs from the Zandvenheide in Koekhoven, a Belgian hamlet near Merksplas.
The source area of the Mark, the Turnhout Vennengebied, forms the watershed between the Maas (Dommel and Mark) and the Scheldt (Nete).
Through Hoogstraten and Minderhout, where the Mark forms a part of the national border between Belgium and the Netherlands, the stream eventually enters Dutch territory at border post 218 just south of the Mark bridge between Meersel-Dreef and Galder.
In the Netherlands, the Mark flows to Breda where it comes out in the singel of Breda near Boeimeersingel street.
Here I conducted a sound measurement.
Under the viewpoint, there is a pump, and there is also a lot of road traffic.
