The name reveals it already; during a large part of the route, you can enjoy the beautiful panoramas of the Westerschelde and the North Sea. In clear weather, Vlissingen can be clearly seen across the water. In addition, you will pass by various natural gems:

1. Waterdunen: a nature park that is connected to the Westerschelde. A tidal channel ensures that the Westerschelde water flows in and out of the nature reserve. Due to the constant change of ebb and flow, the natural landscape looks different every hour. Attention! Bicycles are not allowed in the area, not even by hand. You can leave your bike at the bike racks or in the parking lot.

2. The Zwin: was of great importance as a shipping channel for a long time. Over time, the channel silted up and this beautiful nature reserve with beach, dunes, mudflats, and meadows was created. The Zwin is an important breeding ground, and Lamsoor, a Zeeland delicacy, grows here.

3. The Drowned Black Polder: a 55-hectare nature area. Fertile arable land was left to the waves here in 1802. A dark chapter in history.
