Sluis is a fortified town. Along and under the city walls, you can hike beautifully in every season. Along the way, you will encounter the 'jewels' of Sluis, such as the old city gates from the 15th century, including De Stenen Beer, Waterpoort, Zuidpoort, and Oostpoort. You will also pass the windmill 'De Brak', which is still regularly in operation.
The picturesque and historic Sint Anna ter Muiden is truly a dream with its monumental marketplace, the village fountain, old linden trees, and the church tower.
