From Someren, you cycle over Nederweert and Schoor to Tungelroy and Stramproy, before heading to Belgium. In Belgium, you ride on quiet roads through the cultural landscape, through the Jagersborg Forest Reserve and along the cycling path by the Zuid-Willemsvaart.
At Dilsen-Stokkem, you switch to the other side (west bank) of the Zuid-Willemsvaart and cycle along the cycle path next to the thoroughfares to the Terhills Resort.

From the Terhills Resort, you quickly reach Cycling between Halden (formerly known by the project name Cycling over Water): a pontoon bike and footpath over the Great Plas between the mining heaps (Terrils) around the Great Plas. After passing this further special cycling project in Belgian Limburg, you cycle along the separately situated bike path through the forests and the Mechelse Heide to Niel-bij-As, with a short climb with inclines of up to 17%. A nice viewpoint is the Brasserie in the former train station building of As.

Afterwards, you cycle a bit over the Coal Spur, then go up and down the Kempen Plateau. You ride along the nature reserve Bergerven (be careful: the asphalt is lifted in some places by tree roots) and then climb over the ridge to the northwest of Bergerven. Next, you cycle over Waterloos, the forests near Opitter, and a section along the Zuid-Willemsvaart north of Tongerlo, through the Grenzpark Kempen-Broek. The final kilometers lead you along the cycling path next to the main roads from Maarheeze to Someren.
