Maarssen past and present

This Past and Present walk leads you along the most striking places and buildings of the historic village center of Maarssen. Signs with images from the past and informative texts are placed in such a way that you see the current situation from the same perspective as the photographer or artist of the time.

You also walk past the brown signs of the Historical Circle Maarssen, which provide in-depth information about monuments. A starting point can be at Goudestein, where you can park for free. Then immediately walk into the Vechtstreekmuseum!

The route can be started at any point, each sign gives directions to the next sign. Along the way you will come across dozens of nice terraces and shops.
