Route 2 from Château St. Gerlach in Houthem - St. Gerlach

This is a very hilly cycling route.

At the corner of the main street and the entrance to Château St.-Gerlach ("Joseph Corneli-Allée") is cycling junction 61. This is the starting and ending point of this route.
Walk along the driveway and turn left before the barrier, then follow the green and white cycling junction signs as indicated above. (The first is junction 40).

Between junction 57 and 88, you will find the “Herberg de Bernardushoeve” on the left at a corner, which is a nice place for a break. In the courtyard of this Limburgian four-sided farm or on the terrace with a splendid view, you can enjoy a drink or a small meal. For more information, visit: https://bernardushoeve.nl

After the break, continue to junction 88 and follow the rest as indicated above.

The 3-digit numbers are Belgian cycling junctions (indicated by blue signs).

TIP: Cyclists arriving by car can park for free in the parking lot to the right before the barrier in Joseph Corneli-Allée.
