Bite & Pedal tour of lost industries

South Limburg, and in particular the territory of the municipality of Eijsden-Margraten, is historically known as an agricultural area. Yet not only many people have farmed well here as livestock farmers, arable farmers or gardeners. There have also been several industries in our area. In this Hap- & Traptocht we take you along some of these lost industries and introduce you to the industrial past of the villages in the Heuvelland.
The route is more than 60 kilometers long and passes many beautiful places. The theme of lost industries appeals to the imagination and is therefore also a lot of fun to do together with children. The route starts and ends at Café 't Piepke on the Kerkplein in Mesch, but runs in a loop. So you can get on and start at any desired place on the route. The route takes you past more than twenty-five industrial monuments.
