The Chapel of Saint Sebastian was the last of the group of four Stairs of the Way of the Cross in Valença. It was built in the second half of the 19th century
Despite its simplicity, the chapel has a simple longitudinal plan, with axial and lateral lighting inside and a wooden mastic roof.
Inside, the main altarpiece, in polychrome carving, despite being made in the 19th century, reuses some ancient sculpted elements and integrates an 18th-century sculptural group representing the Descent from the Cross . Also noteworthy is the polylobed holy water font, which connects two bowls.
