Norrbotten County is the northernmost county or län of Sweden. It is also the largest county by land area, almost a quarter of Sweden's total area. It shares the borders with the Västerbotten County at south-west, the Gulf of Bothnia at south-east, the counties of Nordland and Troms og Finnmark in Norway at north-west, and the Lapland Province in Finland at north-east.
