Start at small parking lot, right on road no. 40 coming from Eksjö direction Jonköping.

Lovely, quiet walk around lake Norra Vixen.

At the start you inevitably have to go a little bit over the busy 40 but that is quickly forgotten. Furthermore, you walk along almost traffic-free roads and paths, past some holiday homes, and always near the lake. In the 2nd half of the walk you have a number of picnic areas on the lake and opportunity for a refreshing splash. Ideal also with dogs. Furthermore, a bit along the golf club, where you can possibly eat or drink something and via small paths back to the starting place.

until the golf club you follow the long-distance route Hoglandsleden, marked in orange but then you leave the marked road and you have to trust your GPS device
