Montaña de la Mar , together with Las Morras del Corch o, is a volcanic peak that was formed during a previous eruption of lava from the volcano.
During the eruption of Montaña Grande 10,000 years ago, lava flowed along these peaks that protruded above it.
The Mirador del Montaña de la Mar rises 34 meters above sea level. From the Mirador del Mar, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Güímar's rugged coastline, with its rocky cliffs, small coves and expansive seascapes. On clear days, the view extends to the horizon, where the ocean merges with the sky. Besides admiring the scenery, the Mirador del Mar is also a popular place to take photos , relax and enjoy the fresh sea air.
