A perfect masterpiece of religious sculpture from the late 15th or early 16th century. On its shaft, twelve tableaux (three on each side) depict scenes from the life of Christ. In the corners, the twelve apostles and, above them, the four evangelists. The cross is two-sided: on one side, the crucifixion under the eyes of St. Peter and St. Michael. On the reverse, Our Lady of Mercy, between Saint Magdalene and Saint John, presents the lifeless body of her son. This painting marks the end of the drama.
