Don't be fooled by the name, the place, or even less by its appearance. La Table des Compagnons is located on the top floor of the Compagnons du Tour de France building, on the edge of the Pignada forest. It is the second address of the English chef Mickael Degueurce. This restaurant offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Anglet pine forest, the Pyrenees, Bayonne cathedral and the Rhune! The menu changes every day and is based on fresh and mostly local products. Mainly based on meat and the trio of beef, duck and pig, the menu offers a variety of tasty dishes such as Txulets, Galician beef ribs matured by the chef himself. Four different side dishes are offered: chips/salad, vegetable cassolette, vegetable mousseline and apple pressé with smoked bacon.
