Walk starting point Cuevas Bermejas: in this hamlet, people still live in caves like their ancestors. The village bar and the small chapel are also carved into the rock faces. The path out of the valley ascends through hairpin bends, and up top we have a vast view over the southern part of the island. To return to the valley floor, we once again follow a steep mountain path down where we quickly overcome quite a significant height difference. Caution is advised there; those who feel a bit uncertain should return via the path taken on the way there.
