La abadía de La Ramée, fundada alrededor de 1215 por Héluide, abadesa de Nivelles, estaba situada en Jauchelette, en Bélgica, en el Brabante Valón, a nivel de un meandro de la Grande Gette. El convento estuvo al principio bajo la autoridad religiosa de la abadía de Villers-la-Ville. La abadía era entonces piadosa y docta, tenía un scriptorium.
