Sart-Saint-Laurent es una aldea de la Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse en la carretera de Namur a Châtelet. Hoy en día forma parte de Fosses-la-Ville, en la provincia de Namur. Era un municipio por completo antes de la fusión de municipios de 1977.
Situado en el borde del bosque de la Haute Marlagne, el lugar fue desbrozado y talado por leñadores, especialmente a principios del siglo XII, cuando la construcción de la abadía de Floreffe por san Norberto, ayudado por Hugo de Fosses, en 1221, requería mucha madera.
