Justo fuera de la ciudad se encuentra el imponente castillo de Betho. El castillo, cuya primera mención se encuentra en 1267, era originalmente un castillo de agua. El estanque actual hace referencia al foso que una vez rodeó todo el edificio. El castillo residencial está diseñado de manera simétrica y consta de: castillo, granja cuadrada, estanque y parque. Los edificios actuales datan principalmente de los siglos XVII y XVIII, con una torre suroeste de 1478.
Este castillo no es accesible al público.
