El antiguo pueblo de Ocquier (600 habitantes) está situado en la meseta de Condroz, en el valle del Néblon, un afluente del Ourthe. En la Chienrue, la calle donde en 1653 se luchó intensamente contra las tropas francesas de Condé, se encuentra la pequeña iglesia románica de San Remaclus. La torre, donde los aldeanos se refugiaban en caso de peligro, data del siglo XVII, el patio de los monjes del siglo XI. El hotel Castel de Val d'Or, una antigua granja y lugar de cambio de caballos, fue reconstruido después de ser destruido por los franceses.
