Según una leyenda, se encontró una pequeña figura de madera en un hórreo de la granja 't Hof en Veylst. Esta representaba a la madre de Mara: Santa Ana. Llevaba en su brazo a María, quien a su vez portaba a Jesús. La figura se colocó primero en algunas capillitas de madera, pero finalmente en 1639 se construyó una capilla de piedra. Esto estaría relacionado con la epidemia de peste de la que muchas personas en la región fueron salvadas. (y se atribuyó a esta figura). ¿Sabías que desde 1631, cada martes por la noche se celebra la misa de la capilla?
