Izel es una aldea en la provincia belga de Luxemburgo y una parte del municipio de Chiny. Izel se encuentra a orillas del Semois en la Gaume. En la parte del municipio también se encuentra la aldea de Moyen, en la otra orilla del Semois.
Al final del Ancien Régime, Izel se convirtió en un municipio. En 1823, durante la reorganización municipal en Luxemburgo, se fusionaron muchos pequeños municipios y el municipio vecino de Moyen se integró en Izel.
