Roosbeek es una aldea en la provincia belga de Brabante Flamenco y una parte del municipio de Boutersem. Roosbeek fue un municipio independiente hasta la reorganización municipal de 1970. Las primeras formas de escritura fueron Roscebeke y Rosebeke y podrían derivar de la forma salio-franca de "rietbeek". Durante el dominio romano, una gran parte de Roosbeek estaba cubierta por un gran pantano. Alrededor del 840, fue como Kerkom propiedad de la abadía de Cornelimunster y posteriormente, a través del cabido de San Lamberto en Lieja, pasó en gran parte a manos de la abadía de Villers.
