Roosbeek è un paese nella provincia belga del Brabante Fiammingo e una frazione di Boutersem. Roosbeek era un comune autonomo fino alla riforma comunale del 1970. Le prime forme di scrittura erano Roscebeke e Rosebeke e potrebbero derivare dalla forma salico-franca di "rietbeek". Al tempo della dominazione romana, una grande palude si estendeva su gran parte di Roosbeek. Intorno all'840, come Kerkom, passò in possesso dell'abbazia di Cornelimunster e successivamente, attraverso il capitolo di San Lambert a Liegi, finì in gran parte nelle mani dell'abbazia di Villers.
