Roosbeek er en landsby i den belgiske provins Vlaams-Brabant og en delkommune af Boutersem. Roosbeek var en selvstændig kommune indtil den kommunale reorganisering i 1970. De første skrivemåder var Roscebeke og Rosebeke og kunne stamme fra den saliske-frankiske form af "rietbeek". På tidspunktet for den romerske dominans strakte der sig et stort moseområde i en stor del af Roosbeek. Omkring år 840 blev det, ligesom Kerkom, ejet af klosteret i Cornelimunster og kom derefter, via kapitlet af Sankt Lambertus i Liège, i høj grad i hænderne på klosteret i Villers.
