l'Eau Noire
El Eau Noire es un río afluente del Viroin que nace en Rocroi (Francia) a una altura de 350 metros. Poco después de su nacimiento, forma durante aproximadamente cinco kilómetros la frontera con Francia antes de desviarse hacia el norte.
Justo más allá de Couvin, la ciudad más importante a lo largo del río, parte del río fluye por debajo de la tierra a través de las Grutas de Neptuno, también llamadas "Grutas del Adugeoir". La ramificación subterránea se une nuevamente con la corriente principal en Nismes.
En la "Roche à Lomme", el Eau Noire se une a 150 metros de altura con el Eau Blanche para formar el Viroin.
El Eau Noire - Agua Negra – fluye directamente desde los bosques, lo que hace que el agua sea más clara que la del Eau Blanche, permitiendo ver más profundo, casi hasta el fondo, lo que da una imagen más oscura.
