El Visbeek se encuentra en el territorio de los municipios de Lille y Wechelderzande en las Kempen de Amberes. El área incluye el Visbeek con su valle y está delimitada por la población de Wechelderzande al oeste, la frontera municipal con Vlimmeren al norte, bosques de coníferas al oeste y la autopista E34 al sur. Esta última también forma una barrera natural entre las áreas valle del Visbeek y el Kindernouwbeek. Se trata de un complejo variado de tierras agrícolas a pequeña escala, restos de brezal, bosques de coníferas y de frondosas, y pantanos.
