La construcción de la Brasserie Harmonie data de poco después de 1900.
Entre 1900 y 1905, el entonces Cercle Liberal comenzó la construcción del café y la sala anexa; el antiguo salón de festividades que ya ha sido demolido. Los miembros del Cercle Liberal no escatimaron en gastos y querían mostrar a los ronsenenses que tenían y conocían el 'savoir vivre'. De hecho, era una costumbre entre los miembros del Cercle celebrar un fin de semana en París cada año. Allí, por supuesto, habían visto las típicas brasseries parisinas. Algo así también debía existir para Ronse en el cambio de siglo.
