Maes en Boereboomplein nr. 1. Antiguo ayuntamiento de Heist, construido en 1931-1932 bajo la dirección de los arquitectos L. Bailyu (Heist) y F. Langeraert (Gante) y ejecutado por el contratista C. Van Haverbeke (Middelkerke). Edificio modernista que consiste en un edificio principal con una entrada elaborada que incluye escaleras y elegantes puertas de hierro forjado, y una torre, inspirada en la torre del Ayuntamiento de Hilversum bajo la dirección del arquitecto W. Dudok de 1924-1930. En la fachada sur del ayuntamiento se erige en 1992 el centro cultural "Ravelingen" bajo la dirección de la oficina de arquitectos A2 Office (Knokke-Heist).
