Número 8. Colegio Episcopal. Fundado en 1851 como continuación de la antigua Escuela Latina. Complejos edificios situados en los terrenos de la antigua abadía de San Nicolás del siglo XVII, conservándose el denominado "Puertita de la Abadía" en el lado de la calle de la Abadía. Edificios escolares originales de circa 1867 ahora reemplazados por un complejo neogótico más amplio con edificio principal de 1891 diseñado por el arquitecto D. De Nijs (Roeselare) y otros alas de 1891, 1899 a principios del XX, 1913-1914 (capilla) y circa 1934 (arquitecto J. Leper, Veurne). A lo largo de los años 1950-1960, más ampliaciones y puesta en funcionamiento del antiguo hospital de San Juan (Houtmarkt, número 15) con un nuevo edificio escolar a la derecha en el lado de Houtmarkt. Nuevo polideportivo de 1977 en la esquina de Houtmarkt con Karel Coggelaan (arquitecto J. Plasman, Veurne).
