Smissestraat z.nr. Vieja berm ferroviaria con puentes. La línea de tren Ostende-Ieper-Armentières se construyó entre 1864 y 1873 (aprobación parlamentaria en abril de 1864). En 1963, la línea de tren se cerró al transporte de pasajeros, en 1967 para el transporte de mercancías. En 1985, el antiguo lecho de la línea de tren en el territorio de Torhout se transformó en la ruta recreativa "Groene 62", un sendero para caminar y andar en bicicleta que desde 1986 es extendido por el gobierno provincial hasta Ostende. Puentes en arco de ladrillos rojos de tres partes. Arcos de medio punto bajo doble tira, bóvedas de ladrillos. Barandillas renovadas. MESTDAGH M., Torhout.
