La Isla del Norte es un bonito y sorprendente trozo de naturaleza, cerca de la cerradura marina de Wintam. Hace algunos años, la Isla del Norte era un paisaje lunar rellenado. Hoy es una hermosa zona natural de 50 hectáreas con sauces alternando, prados ricos en hierbas, dunas de arena, placas de barro y cuerpos de agua.
Los bovinos Galloway y los caballos Konik le dan al paisaje una apariencia especial. También las aves acuáticas y migratorias se sienten cómodas allí.
