La estación de mercancías de 1906 se construyó impulsada por Leopoldo II y es una majestuosa edificación compuesta de ladrillo, piedra natural, acero y vidrio. Sobre la entrada vigila el dios romano del comercio Mercurio. En su apogeo, en los años 60, trabajaban allí 3000 personas. Cuando las últimas actividades logísticas se detuvieron en 2000, se pensó en un nuevo uso. El festival de música Couleur Café encontró allí un lugar y la empresa inmobiliaria Extensa, que es el nuevo propietario, decidió restaurar el edificio, organizar ferias, fiestas y festivales, y albergar oficinas en él.
