La stazione merci del 1906 è stata costruita sotto l'impulso di Leopoldo II ed è un maestoso edificio composto da mattoni, pietra naturale, acciaio e vetro. Sopra l'ingresso veglia il dio romano del commercio Mercurio. Nel periodo di massimo splendore, negli anni '60, vi lavoravano 3000 persone. Quando le ultime attività logistiche furono interrotte nel 2000, si pensò a un riutilizzo. Il festival musicale Couleur Café vi trovò un posto e la compagnia immobiliare Extensa, che è il nuovo proprietario, decise di restaurare l'edificio, di organizzare fiere, feste e festival e di allestirvi uffici.
