La 'Piedra Azul' en Ophovenderheide forma la frontera entre Wijshagen, Gruitrode y Opglabbeek. En el lenguaje popular, esta piedra angular se conoce como el 'Punto de Tres Pueblos'.
Esta piedra simboliza el final de la concesión minera subterránea de las Minas de Carbón de Kempen: la mina de Zwartberg se encuentra a unos kilómetros. Cerca de la Piedra Azul también se encuentran los lagos Turfven y Zwartven.
