El nuevo centro de recepción De Kazematten consta de 5 grandes salas que han sido restauradas y adaptadas con mucho respeto por la historia de la construcción para su uso contemporáneo y polivalente. Allí encontrarás una elegante brasserie, bajo los auspicios de la cervecería Sint-Bernardus de Watou, donde podrás disfrutar de cervezas locales o un bocado sabroso.
En las salas 4 y 5 se ha instalado el centro de interpretación 'Diez siglos de fortalezas de Ypres'. Allí podrás conocer en profundidad la historia del paisaje fortificado de Ypres con sus únicas testimonios cultural-históricos, y de la hermosa naturaleza que se pudo desarrollar tan cerca del casco histórico.
