Jacques y Annie miran desde su sala de estar hacia el viñedo. Este se encuentra en media hectárea de suelo arcillo-arenoso con una ligera inclinación orientada hacia el oeste y en la ladera sur del valle del pueblo. En 2013, produjeron por primera vez algunos vinos prometedores, incluyendo el Pinot Auxerrois. La bodega de De Vallei en Heuvelland opera completamente en base a principios biodinámicos.
