Este paseo lleva el nombre de un compositor de ópera del siglo XIX famoso en su época que se alojaba a menudo en Spa .
Fue en Spa donde encontró la inspiración para su primera gran obra, "Robert le Diable". Amaba el aire libre y la naturaleza y a menudo se le veía montando un burro. El sendero discurre por el borde del arroyo , yendo de un lado a otro por pasarelas de madera o piedra.
El paseo Meyerbeer comienza en la Fuente de Barisart y el restaurante adyacente y sigue el arroyo que nace en el Géronstère.
Hay varias mesas de picnic en el camino.
Para volver, se recomienda pasar por el Bois de Mambaye a través de Thier des Raixhons , la famosa pista de esquí de Spa.
