Hugo de la panadería Goiris es el desarrollador del producto regional de Genk, las 'galletas de Genk'.
Trabajó de manera muy cuidadosa y buscó contacto con amigos y conocidos de Grecia, Turquía e Italia, indagó en recetas auténticas de galletas y les dio un giro propio.
Hugo probó y dejó probar hasta que tuvo exactamente lo que quería: cuatro galletas, cada una con su propio sabor típico: la Findikli (turca), las Kourabiéthes (griega), los Cantucc(ini) (italiana) y Pallet des dames (belga).
